0:03 Building a SAS to 1KMR episode 3. Since the previous episode, we managed to get
0:07 a dozen people to try out our idea and give us feedback. Based on that
0:11 feedback, we improved the MVP and we launched the product on X. The launch
0:15 went amazing. We had hundreds of likes and comments. People were supportive.
0:19 Thank you for that, by the way. We even get our first sale 10 minutes after
0:24 launch, which was amazing. Now, it's been 2 days since our launch, and we
0:29 only had one more sale. So unfortunately this product didn't pass our validation
0:34 threshold. The goal of this challenge is to build fast and validate fast. And
0:39 validation means making money. If a product doesn't make enough money after
0:43 launch, we decide to move on to the next idea. Why? Because we don't want to
0:47 spend too much time on an idea that it's not validated. By the way, the first
0:51 product that we built is called Big Clips, and it's a tool for video
0:55 creators to generate clips of themselves in minutes with just three simple steps.
1:00 Upload photo, select a scene, or write a prompt, generate clip. Our promise is to
1:05 save creators hours filming and editing B-rolls. I have two reasons why I think
1:10 this didn't work out as we wanted it. First, I think the target audience for
1:15 the product is not on X. Even though the launch on X went amazing, the people
1:19 were hyped and they like the product, but it didn't seem to be good enough for
1:24 them to pay. And I think mainly because I don't have a lot of video creators
1:28 following me. And the second reason is maybe our intuition that this product
1:33 will help video creators is not such a big problem as we thought [music] it is.
1:36 So hence, we decided to move on to the next one. We'll continue to see how this
1:40 one works. we'll put it on our websites and in case we have more customers,
1:44 we're going to talk with them to see how we can make it better. But in the
1:48 meantime, we started working on the next idea. Even though this might seem like a
1:52 fail, in reality, it wasn't. We're super excited of what we could accomplish in 7
1:56 days. Also, we're very excited about the fact that me and Andrew, my co-founder,
2:01 are very much alike. We have the same goals. We have the same long-term
2:05 vision. And for us, this was just a test. It was a way to see how we work
2:08 together. and we both think that it went great and this is just the start of a
